Is the original wrapper/packaging removed from the food product?
Absolutely not. OccasionOgraphy products are STRICTLY for aesthetic (i.e., visual) enhancement of pre-packaged food and drink items. OccasionOgraphy dealers are expressly prohibited from removing the original manufacturer's packaging for any candy (or other) bars, mints, bottled water or other food products personalized with our wrappers, mintbook covers, etc. Neither our personalizable product materials nor the foil pouches used underneath them are suitable or approved for direct contact with any edible food or drink item.
What Parts of Each Design Can Be Personalized?
The preprinted background designs for all OccasionOgrapy products are shown as small (thumbnail) images in our catalogs, with a personalized version shown as an example. The small thumbnail product images illustrate the fixed elements of each design, which cannot be removed or changed. Almost anything can be added to the design background, anywhere on the product. The fixed elements take the hassle out of coming up with a complete design from scratch. However, if you have a custom design, either ready or in mind, I can help translate that to a finished product, too!
What Can Be Personalized With SplashBands?
Splashbands were originally designed to fit perfectly around the most common size water bottles on the market, the 0.5 liter /16.9oz bottle. Regardless of brand of water, most companies produce a 0.5 liter bottle with the same circumference. The height (width) of the SplashBands may need to be trimmed in some instances, but the designs were created with a little bit of extra space at the top and bottom to accommodate this.
In general, we've seen SplashBands wrapped around numerous beverage containers that do not exceed 8.5" in circumference.
Are SplashBands waterproof?
Yes. SplashBands are made of both a waterproof and tear proof material. When submerged in water or ice the design or personalization will not be harmed or damaged.
What can be personalized with MyMintos?
MyMintos were originally designed to hold the individually wrapped Life Savers mints. However, their versatility for use in all types of occasions is matched by the variety of items that can be put inside them:
Dozens of similarly sized hard and soft candies, mints and gum- if individually wrapped, also fit perfectly into the MyMintos mintbook covers. They can also hold vitamin packs, tiny chocolate squares, raffle tickets, coupons, stickers, photographs, PC/camera memory cards, packaged moist towlettes, individual powdered drink mix packets. Solid items can also be affixed inside of the MyMintos product such as coins, commemorative lapel pins, photographs, keys....etc.
What can be personalized with 'standard size' candy bar wrappers?
The 'standard' candy bar wrappers were designed for the 1.55oz 'standard' Hershey Bar. When Hershey changed its packaging in 2004 from the foil sheet and paper to a hermetically sealed plastic sleeve, we developed a custom foil pouch to recreate the classic foiled look (beautiful personalized wrappers did not look so good with brown plastic serrated edges poking out on each end). The unintended benefit was that a wide variety of similarly sized items were now candidates for the personalized wrappers.
We are constantly hearing of new items being inserted in the foil pouches, and innovative uses for them, but here is just a sampling of the items that have been personalized using OccasionOgraphy wrappers:
